BioGaia AB, Stockholm, Sweden, has signed an agreement with Nature’s Sunshine Products, Inc., Provo, UT, in order to boost sales of Reuteri tablets in the U.S. The agreement gives Nature’s Sunshine Products exclusive sales rights to Reuteri tablets through multi-level marketing in the U.S.. The Reuteri tablets are currently marketed by McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Fort Washington, PA, and have been sold in the U.S. mainly through grocery stores. BioGaia has decided that this type of product should be sold in natural health stores, pharmacies and through multi-level marketing, where the customers are offered detailed information about the efficacy of the product.
